Sam has a background in hill country farming, land, water and climate management and rural community wellbeing. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science in environmental management, and received a Nuffield Scholarship in 2016. Sam spent 2015-2018 hill country farming in Hawke’s Bay and currently works as an independent researcher, advisor and farmer network coordinator.

Our team is committed to ensuring the messages and stories we gather, along with their implications, are well communicated to the right people, including Beef and Lamb New Zealand, the wider agricultural sector, government, relevant researchers and the New Zealand public.”
