Scientific Oversight

Dr Suzanne Keeling (Sector Science Strategy Manager, B+LNZ)

Suzi has a doctorate in environmental microbiology from RMIT University. For the past 20 years, she has worked across scientific disciplines, including animal, environmental and human health supporting biosecurity, food integrity and market access. During this time, Suzi has led and co-ordinated multidisciplinary teams in productive partnerships nationally and internationally, working alongside industry, government and academia in New Zealand, Australia and Canada. As B+LNZ  Sector Science Strategy Manager, Suzi contributes to the scientific leadership of the programme and identifies opportunities to maximise outcomes for hill country farmers. Her key focus is to deliver science that is robust, useful and works on-farm.
